Compton-raised rapper Kendrick Lamar brushed elbows with the top of the hip hop food chain in 2013, opening for Kanye West on the "Yeezus" tour and serving as the only guest rapper to appear on Eminem's studio album The Marshall Mathers LP 2. Those high-profile assignments came after Lamar's first major-label album, 2012's good kid, m.A.A.d city, vaulted to No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum. A 2013 Rolling Stone story named Lamar one of 50 reasons to be excited about live music  -- his ticket-buying fans certainly agree. He can do it without a posse or dancers, often commanding the stage joined only by a DJ.

The singers' microphones did not work, some artists did not sing at all, and all was live band.

Got the tickets for my daughter and she LOVED IT!! She said and I quote "Mom, we've been to a lot of concerts and this is one of the BEST concerts I've been to overall."

This show was FIRE.

I loved this show from start to finish. From Jidenna bringing out the little kid from Blackish, to Ty$ bringing out Omarion, to Rich Homie Quan bringing out Lil Dicky, to Future bringing out Drake, and to Kendrick bringing out Jay Rock...I LOVED ALL OF IT. Rae Sremmurd had a few technical difficulties and that was pretty frustrating, because it seemed like just as the crowd was getting turnt...there was a glitch. They pushed through though! Production was great, DJs were great...I had an overall good time. What I HATED was buying floor seats. I was in section G, 7th row...and as soon as Drake came out, people got hype and started standing on the chairs. It was annoying. I had a clear show the entire time, and as soon as people started standing on chairs...it was a wrap. If you're going to buy floor seats, make sure you're in the first few rows. If not, just buy lower 100 level seats closest to the stage. There were also a bunch of randoms who found their way to the front, even though they did not buy tickets for that section. Security pretty much gave up on enforcing seating after awhile.

Real Show Did it right!
