YOUNG THUG IN CONCERT:Larger-than-life rapper Young Thug emerged as one of the most buzzworthy new artists in the game thanks to his edgy style, eccentric flow, and unhinged live performances. Critics have hailed the Birdman acolyte as hip hop's next big star, and it's easy to see why Thug has them gushing. He oozes charisma and personality at his live shows, slaying fans with offbeat rhymes and off-the-chain performances that add loads of attitude to his already-swaggering tracks. Whether he's performing fan favorite "Stoner" or previewing cuts from his highly anticipated debut album, Young Thug promises to deliver on his 2015 Rodeo Tour with Travis Scott. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:Young Thug, aka Jeffrey Williams, grew up the second youngest of ten kids, and his rough and tumble childhood landed him on the streets of Atlanta at an early age. He was expelled from school in sixth grade for breaking a teacher's arm and spent the next four years in a juvenile detention facility gambling and rapping to pass the time. After his release he focused his energy on music, and in 2011 he dropped the first installment of his mixtape trilogy I Came From Nothing. The series caught the eye of Gucci Mane, who signed Thug to his 1017 Brick Squad Records imprint in 2013. His debut on the label, 2013's 1017 Thug, was a critical smash, landing on numerous year-end lists including Complex, Rolling Stone, and FACT Magazine. His rise continued later that year with his first commercial single "Stoner", a Top 5 rap hit that received the remix treatment from rap heavyweights like Wale, Iamsu!, and Jadakiss. Since then he's collaborated with Kanye West and been a featured artist on dozens of rap tracks, including chart hits by Rae Sremmurd and T.I. With his highly anticipated debut album generating big buzz in 2015, Young Thug has ticket buyers dying to catch him on tour.

Great Concert

If you love fast paced music, lots of lights, jumping like crazy and getting lit then I would highly recommend going to a young thug concert. Not only do you get a taste of young thug but of other great DJ's rappers like 21 savage and more. The light shows are amazing and very colorful and the sound of the space sounds incredible. And if your lucky like I was you'll get a stage dive by young thug and get a chance to touch him. Overall it's a great experience and one of the most memorable nights ever.

Unreal

Thug lived up to and surpassed every expectation. Played hit after hit after hit. TM88 kept the energy high through the "intermissions" and 21 Savage was electric.

Horrible

Thugger was bad, nice to look at but he was horrible. He was worth $25 including tax.

Great Show, Horrible Organization

I've seen Thugger at least 3x in Philly, this was my first show at Electric Factory. Really nice venue, no matter where you are you get a really good view of the stage. We had meet and greet passes but basically it only got us early entry into the venue (we still had to wait in 2 lines before getting in) just to be told that the meet and greet will happen AFTER the show ends. That bummed a lot of ppl out esp those who came from afar and wished to leave slightly early. We got no special VIP lanyards or merchandise, just one picture with Young Thug that you had to take with your cell phone. They rushed everyone at that point just so they could close up and leave, TOTAL WASTE OF $100 but I'd enjoy going back to the venue as GA next time. He brought Duke w/ him but only as a hypeman kind of disappointed they didn't perform together, Duke did some Barter 6 joints but only as intermissions as Thugger did wardrobe changes.
