Anytime you can see the Capitol Steps, do it! Their satire is so clever the audience roars as soon as the song starts. The cast rotates but all are exceptional. Very high energy and fast paced. We were exhausted from laughing. Only caveat - if you know nothing of the current political scene give the Steps a pass. They rely on an informed audience.

Cap Steps are Under-Rated!!!

Each skit/song was smart, comical and in good taste. Our audience had a number of high school age kids who were also roaring along with laughter. Capital steps comedy really transcends age and political saavy, political views, etc. -- anyone who is vaguely aware of the news will enjoy it-- and those totally into DC politics will enjoy it as well. Always a pleasure to admire the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center which is where we saw the show. Such a shame the show it isn't advertised better as the Amphlitheater should be jammed packed each night. When we attended they had a good size crowd but certainly not a full house. Some of the Cap Steps entertainers stood outside to talk with the crowd afterwards. Great performance!!!!

The Capitol Steps bring fun bipartisan humor to the Reagan Building in downtown DC. It helps to be up-to-speed on current events, and you have to listen closely to the lyrics of the songs, but the topics are current and set to music in a way that is very entertaining.

If you can't laugh at politicians you have to cry. Fortunately the Capital Steps make laughing easy. Perhaps they are getting tired of the same idiocy but I thought the energy was down a bit. Reguardless I'll be listening to them for quite a while, til I can see them live again.

I seldom miss a chance to see Capitol Steps when in DC. Always fresh, always worth it. To say different would be a lirty die.
